David Moroney - Independent Chair and Non-Executive Director

David is an experienced finance executive with more than 30 years of experience in senior corporate finance roles, including 15 years in the mining industry, and extensive international work experience with strong skills in finance, strategic planning, governance, risk management and leadership.

David was Chief Financial Officer for Co-Operative Bulk Handling, First Quantum Minerals, Aurora Gold and Wesfarmers CSBP; General Manager of Group Business Services and a member of the senior executive leadership team at Wesfarmers; Deputy CFO and Executive General Manager of Accounting at Normandy Mining. His experience covers a wide range of resources including diamonds, copper, cobalt, nickel, silver and gold in Africa, Asia, Scandinavia and Australia.

David is a Fellow of both the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and CPA Australia and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. David has extensive non-executive board experience with WA Super, Hockey Australia and Geraldton Fishermen's Co-Operative.

David is currently a Non-Executive Director of St Barbara Limited, having joined its board in 2015.

 

Greg Durack

Greg Durack - Managing Director

Industrial Chemist, B.App Sc. in Applied Chemisty, Member of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy

Greg Durack is a mining industry professional with 38 years experience in operations and project development both domestically and internationally. A wealth of experience was gained as a Senior Metallurgist in one of the world's largest copper-gold mines, Ok Tedi, in the highlands of Papua New Guinea for a number of years. Upon returning to Australia, he worked with Normandy Mining for a period of 11 years, where he rose to the position of General Manager of an operating mine, then worked on the feasibility study for the Ahafo Gold Project and then as the Country General Manager for the Perama Gold Project in Greece.

Greg joined Jupiter Mines in 2007 where he undertook both COO and CEO roles over a period of 6 years, where he managed two feasibility studies in parallel on the Mount Mason DSO Hematite Project and the Mount Ida Magnetite Project, completing over 100 kilometres of drilling.

In the last 5 years, he has gained experience in the lithium industry, having been the Study Manager for Pilbara Minerals' Pilgangoora Lithium-Tantalum Project including the direct responsibility for the metallurgical test work program. Greg was also part of the commissioning team on the process plant, and for the past year has provided technical advice on a consulting basis.

 

 

Hyul Chun (Charlie) Chul - Non-Executive Director

Charlie is the Director of Raw Materials Investment with POSCO Australia Pty Ltd , a substantial shareholder of Juno. Charlie's role encompasses managing several key raw materials projects in Australia, including iron ore projects.

Joining POSCO in 2005, Charlie progressed through its raw materials, steelmaking and purchasing and investment groups.

Charlie obtained his Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from Seoul National University.

 

Patrick Murphy

Patrick Murphy - Non-Executive Director

Patrick is a managing director of AMCI, a substantial shareholder of Juno.

Patrick is an experienced mining investment professional, having spent 15 years at AMCI and the global investment group Macquarie. He has specialised in deploying capital in the raw materials and mining industries for his entire career. Patrick has global experience and a proven pedigree in identifying and successfully executing value enhancing initiatives in the industry. He holds board positions for a number of AMCI companies and is non-executive director of ASX listed Jupiter Mines Limited (ASX:JMS) and Green Technology Metals (ASX:GT1).

Patrick holds a bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia.

 

Yilen Chen

Yilun Chen - Non-Executive Director

Yilun is a director of Tiger Hill Global Fund, a substantial shareholder of Juno.

Prior to Tiger Hill, Yilun worked at Citigroup, TPG, and Varde Partners, where he worked on investments and transactions in numerous industries including natural resources. Yilun has extensive experience investing across equity, debt, and structured instruments across different industries and geographies.

Yilun holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Management from the University of Oxford.

 

Marc Ber

Marc Ber - Non-Executive Director

Marc is a shareholder and director of Safika Holdings (Pty) Ltd and Chief Executive Officer of Safika Resources (Pty) Ltd (collectively Safika) which has a greater than 20% voting power in Ntsimbintle Holdings (Pty) Ltd (Ntsimbintle). Ntsimbintle is one of Juno's major shareholders holding a 17.503% equity interest in the Company.

Marc has a wealth of experience in the business world and has been instrumental in driving Safika's success and growth since its inception in 1995, joining Safika in 1998. Marc actively seeks out and initiates acquisitions, plays a pivotal role in shaping Safika's investment portfolio, in line with Safika's commitment to a hands-on investment philosophy, remains deeply involved after deals are closed to ensure good corporate governance and identifies opportunities to enhance value. Beyond the boardroom, Marc was Chairperson of the Speech and Language Impaired Centre and a member of the Board of Governors at the Bellavista School in Johannesburg. Marc is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).

 

Melissa Chapman

Melissa Chapman - Joint Company Secretary

Ms Chapman has over 20 years of experience in the accounting profession. She has worked in Australia and the United Kingdom for both listed and private companies. Ms Chapman holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Murdoch University and is qualified as a Certified Practising Accountant with CPA Australia. Ms Chapman has completed a Graduate Diploma of Corporate Governance with the Governance Institute of Australia (AGIA/ACIS) and the company directors' course with the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD). Ms Chapman is a director of Bellatrix Corporate Pty Ltd, a company that provides company secretarial and accounting services to several ASX listed companies.

Catherine Grant-Edwards

Catherine Grant-Edwards - Joint Company Secretary

Ms Grant-Edwards has 20 years of experience in accounting and finance. Ms Grant-Edwards has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Western Australia, majoring in Accounting and Finance, and is a qualified Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia (ICAA). Ms Grant-Edwards is a director of Bellatrix Corporate Pty Ltd, a company that provides company secretarial and accounting services to several ASX listed companies.
